preparation

For feeding your baby, add 1 level scoop of powder to each 30 ml of water (freshly boiled and cooled). Please refer to the feeding guide shown on the can and note this table should only be used as a guide. All babies are different and may require more or less than is shown. Kendamil First Infant Milk should be fed on demand. If you need more advice talk to your healthcare professional.

Step 1

Wash hands, then sterilise your feeding utensils according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Step 2

Fill kettle with 1 litre of freshly run tap water (do not use repeatedly boiled water). Boil and leave to cool for 30 minutes, so it remains at a temperature of at least 70ºC. Measure the required water into a sterilised bottle.

Step 3

Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of levelled scoops to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop.

Step 4

Place on a sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well to dissolve powder.

Step 5

Cool to a natural body temperature. Always test the temperature of the liquid on your wrist prior to feeding your baby.

Absolutely brilliant

We started my daughter on the original formula and it was great. She took to it so well. My daughter’s was born with an umbilical hernia we noticed this became a lot worse as she was suffering with constipation. We decided to change over her milk and within a week the hernia had gone back to normal, she took to her change straight away. The online delivery service is brilliant as only Sainsbury’s stock the comfort in my area. I highly recommend kendamil to anybody.

A good choice for colic and constipated babies. The only down side is its not widely available if urgently needed so subscription is the only choice.

Please read the following notice

Most healthcare professionals agree that breastfeeding is preferable to bottle feeding because it has many benefits for both you and your baby.

If you are considering changing over from breastfeeding or combining breast and bottle feeding, you are advised to talk to your midwife or health visitor first. Once the decision to stop breastfeeding has been made, it may be difficult to go back. Partial bottle feeding with an infant formula milk, especially in the first few weeks of life, may also reduce the supply of your breast milk.

If you choose to bottle feed, it is very important that you use an infant formula milk throughout the first year.

Please ensure that you follow all usage instructions very carefully.
