preparation

For feeding your baby, add 1 level scoop of powder to each 30 ml of water (freshly boiled and cooled). Please refer to the feeding guide shown on the can and note this table should only be used as a guide. All babies are different and may require more or less than is shown. Kendamil First Infant Milk should be fed on demand. If you need more advice talk to your healthcare professional.

Step 1

Wash hands, then sterilise your feeding utensils according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Step 2

Fill kettle with 1 litre of freshly run tap water (do not use repeatedly boiled water). Boil and leave to cool for 30 minutes, so it remains at a temperature of at least 70ºC. Measure the required water into a sterilised bottle.

Step 3

Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of levelled scoops to the bottle. Use the straight edge inside the lid to level each scoop.

Step 4

Place on a sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well to dissolve powder.

Step 5

Cool to a natural body temperature. Always test the temperature of the liquid on your wrist prior to feeding your baby.

A good speciality milk- helped my baby thrive

We initially tried Kendamil organic, which my baby couldn’t tolerate well due to having CMPA & reflux, so we were prescribed a milk by the dr, but it didn’t work as it was too thin to drink, it would swish back up her oesophagus with every movement and upset her reflux even more, plus she was constantly hungry and miserable. I Started using Kendamil comfort (along with omeprazole medication twice a day), and I have to say, the thickness of the milk is perfect (unlike other brands comfort milk which is like goop), easy to drink out of a slow flow teat, stays down in her stomach, and although it’s for colic & constipation, the partially-hydrolyzed formula has worked really well for her reflux and CMPA. Her rashes disappeared in two days, she poops 1/2 times daily, and she’s gaining weight and thriving at 3 months old. I’ve dropped her medication down too. Also, No maltodextrin in the formula which was important for us!

The only milk formula that helps my baby

My baby has colic and reflux when he was a newborn and Kendamil Comfort milk is the only milk formula that helps him.. and he’s 9 months now, it is still the only milk for him. We are on monthly subscription (best subscription ever!) and Kendamil never fails to deliver them on time (even ahead of time at times). They even gave us lovely freebies, which we love! Thank you Kendamil.

Please read the following notice

Most healthcare professionals agree that breastfeeding is preferable to bottle feeding because it has many benefits for both you and your baby.

If you are considering changing over from breastfeeding or combining breast and bottle feeding, you are advised to talk to your midwife or health visitor first. Once the decision to stop breastfeeding has been made, it may be difficult to go back. Partial bottle feeding with an infant formula milk, especially in the first few weeks of life, may also reduce the supply of your breast milk.

If you choose to bottle feed, it is very important that you use an infant formula milk throughout the first year.

Please ensure that you follow all usage instructions very carefully.
